Caspit stated, “America’s current adventure against Iran may end similarly to its venture against the Ansarullah movement in Yemen.”He elaborated, “Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, declared the Yemen file closed after threatening and then bombing Ansarullah, culminating in an agreement amidst heightened tensions.”<\/p>\n
However, the issue lies in the fact that the Ansarullah movement did not capitulate and has not signed any commitment to refrain from launching missiles toward Israel; they can continue their operations whenever they choose.The Israeli analyst emphasized that “Israeli political-security leaders fear this scenario.” He claimed, “Trump might achieve a better deal with the Iranians than Obama\u2019s nuclear agreement, but this deal will not address ballistic missiles or the operations of resistance forces in the Middle East. In such a case, Israel will find itself alone against the Ansarullah movement and their missiles.”Caspit argued “The worst-case scenario is a limited American attack followed by a poor agreement.
