According to reports from Palestinian sources, the intensity of assaults by Israeli settlers against Palestinians has markedly increased during Ramadan. In one incident, homes and vehicles belonging to Palestinians in the village of Susiya, located in the Masafer Yatta region south of Hebron, were set ablaze.<\/p>\n
Simultaneously, the legal organization Al-Baydar stated that settlers torched five homes and several vehicles belonging to Palestinians in Susiya, resulting in significant material damage and instilling fear among Palestinian children and women.During this attack, settlers threw tear gas grenades into some homes, injuring four Palestinians as a result.<\/p>\n
Palestinian sources also reported that settlers not only assaulted shepherds in the areas surrounding Masafer Yatta but also released their livestock into residential areas of several other Palestinian villages.In the village of Beita, located south of Nablus, settlers’ aggression faced resistance from Palestinian youth.<\/p>\n
Notably, in January alone, there were 468 recorded incidents of attacks by settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank, including beatings, uprooting trees, and obstructing Palestinians from accessing their agricultural lands and homes.Approximately 770000 settlers reside in hundreds of Israeli settlements in the West Bank routinely harassing Palestinians to force them to abandon their homes.
