This silence highlights the collusion between Americans and Zionists in the complete occupation of the West Bank.

Why is the U.S. silent in the face of Israel’s dangerous maneuvers in the West Bank? Analysts view this silence as a green light for Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet to continue its aggressive expansion in the West Bank and the displacement of Palestinians. They emphasize that the project designed by the U.S. and Israel for the West Bank is far more perilous than the situation unfolding in Gaza.

Reports indicate that the U.S. indifference towards the Israeli settlement activities in the West Bank and the appropriation of Palestinian lands is unsurprising. Donald Trump, the U.S. President, has never advocated for a two-state solution to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. His twenty-point ceasefire plan for Gaza presents a long, complex, and conditional pathway for Palestinians, essentially depriving them of their natural right to self-determination and an independent state.Trump’s twenty-point plan was also a response to requests from a group of his Arab allies in the G8, whom he met in New York last September to finalize his Gaza proposal, which is set to become UN resolution 2803. Additionally, during his first presidential term, coinciding with Netanyahu’s previous cabinet, Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moved the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. He also allocated nearly a third of the West Bank to Zionists as part of the anti-Palestinian ‘Deal of the Century.’

Currently, in his second presidential term, Trump continues to undermine any chance of establishing a stable and independent Palestinian state, exploiting the consequences of the Gaza war to do so. Washington’s overt support for the occupation and annexation of the West Bank by Zionists is evident, as it does not consider their settlement activities illegal or a violation of international law.U.S. ambassadors in occupied Palestine have consistently affirmed Israel’s claims of sovereignty over the West Bank, framing it as a divine promise. Many U.S. ambassadors in Palestine have been extreme Zionist settlers, educated in ultra-Orthodox schools in the occupied territories. Observers of Mike Huckabee’s statements, the U.S. ambassador to Palestine, would find little distinction between his rhetoric and that of extremist Israeli ministers, a trend that applies to many senior officials in Trump’s administration as well.

If the far-right Israeli cabinet had any doubts about America’s support for its colonial projects in Jerusalem and the West Bank, they would not dare to make such bold and dangerous decisions in the West Bank. Meanwhile, as the Israeli regime, its army, and settlers have turned vast areas of the West Bank, especially the northern regions and the Jordan Valley, into ruins reminiscent of Gaza, Washington has remained silent.Amidst these aggressions and occupations by the Israeli regime in the West Bank, Washington’s primary request from Netanyahu is to avoid embarrassing him as much as possible, allowing the U.S. to maintain relations with its Arab allies in line with its strategic interests. This implies that the U.S. has no objections to the annexation of the West Bank, provided it occurs without official announcement. Trump’s message to Netanyahu is clear: bulldoze as far as you can, but do not put me under pressure with your Arab allies who provide significant benefits to the U.S.

The passivity and silence of Arab regimes have facilitated the U.S. and Israeli regimes in executing their colonial projects in Palestine.Trump’s equation of ‘West Bank vs. Gaza’ suggests that the U.S. has granted the Israeli regime considerable leeway in the West Bank, expecting at least a superficial facilitation of his Gaza plan, while also safeguarding Israeli interests in Gaza. In essence, Trump seeks to create a spectacle for himself in front of global public opinion by convincing Israel to adopt his Gaza strategy.

The ‘West Bank vs. Gaza’ equation, which seems to govern the actions of both American and Israeli parties in the occupied Palestinian territories, does not mean that Washington will overlook Tel Aviv’s immediate priorities in Gaza, particularly regarding weapons and management. Rather, it indicates a moderation of Israeli extremism to some extent. All of this underscores that discussions surrounding Trump’s plan and the UN resolution regarding a meaningful vision for establishing an independent Palestinian state are mere empty rhetoric, designed to divert global public opinion and buy time for Israel to annex the West Bank and Judaize Jerusalem. Washington’s foremost expectation from Netanyahu is to avoid creating trouble for the U.S. so that it can continue receiving services from its Arab allies and expand normalization agreements.

While Zionists previously referred to the West Bank as disputed or negotiable territories, they now assert that this area is entirely Israeli, claiming that the West Bank does not exist and that it is known as Judea and Samaria, an inseparable part of the Promised Land for God’s chosen people. This extremist approach by Zionists, backed by the U.S., has effectively buried the two-state solution forever and dispelled the illusions of Arab regimes regarding this matter. Arab countries that previously made the implementation of a state solution a condition for signing normalization agreements with the Israeli regime now realize that such a solution was never intended to be executed from the start.

Today, with direct U.S. support, Zionists are expanding their occupied territories in Palestine, gradually eliminating the Palestinian cause, forcing the Palestinian people into either forced displacement or submission to the racist laws of the occupying regime, living in these territories as second-class citizens.Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority, which paved the way for Zionist occupation in the West Bank after the Oslo Accords, is in a state of complete fragility and is on the verge of dissolution. All these events occur under the watchful eye of the U.S., which continues to claim that Gaza is its priority. However, no one should be surprised by Washington’s behavior, not only due to its absolute and blind bias towards Israel, inherited from one administration to the next, but also because of a careful examination of Trump’s twenty-point plan.A close study of this plan reveals that everything proposed for Gaza is incompatible with its geography and borders; it is merely a deception. On one hand, it shrouds Gaza’s reconstruction in ambiguity, discussing fanciful projects like ‘Riviera,’ while on the other, it demands the complete disarmament of Palestinian resistance, ensuring that no threat looms over the regime.

Analyzing the maps and movements of the U.S. and the Israeli regime in Gaza and the West Bank leads to the conclusion that an organized project is underway to erase the Palestinian cause and permanently bury the Palestinian state. In these circumstances the historical responsibility of Palestinians dictates that no foreign party can hold legitimacy in Palestinian territories whether American or Zionist. Throughout the history of the Israeli occupation of Palestine the people of this land have successfully stripped any legitimacy from this regime. This is why despite unlimited support from the U.S. and international powers Israel has yet to gain recognition at the regional and global levels continuing its efforts to expand normalization agreements with various countries.

Trump aims to stage a public relations spectacle by persuading Israel to implement his Gaza plan, all while sidelining Palestinian rights.

[64

post-23918","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-palestine
["GET
