According to reports from the International News Agency Tasnim, Hani Qabisi, a member of the Lebanese Parliament affiliated with the Amal Movement, addressed recent developments in Lebanon and the ongoing aggressions by the Zionist enemy amid the inaction of the Lebanese government and its submission to U.S. demands for disarming the resistance. He declared that those opposing the resistance and its weaponry are facilitating the aggressions of the Zionist enemy against Lebanon.<\/p>\n
During a memorial ceremony in southern Lebanon, Hani Qabisi stated that internal divisions weaken Lebanon’s national stance against the ongoing crimes of the Zionists. Despite sacrificing many martyrs and liberating southern Lebanon from Zionist occupation, unfortunately, no one in Lebanon has recognized the sacrifices made by the resistance.This Amal Movement representative emphasized that some within Lebanon aim to disarm the resistance, undermining its power that has consistently protected the country in the absence of government support. He noted that Lebanon is currently experiencing a state of division, with two factions emerging: one seeking submission to the arrogant and colonial powers, and another rejecting this approach, remaining committed to defending the nation.<\/p>\n
Hani Qabisi affirmed that Hezbollah and the Amal Movement have sincerely and faithfully defended Lebanon’s borders following the aggressions of the Zionist enemy. He remarked that today, the Zionist enemy continues its crimes and massacres against Lebanese citizens in their homes and villages, and these attacks must be met with a unified national voice from the government, leadership, and political parties, rather than the rejection of the resistance’s message and policies by some, which leads to further internal discord.He lamented that this division and discord are reflected daily in the political positions of various parties weakening Lebanon. Regarding the upcoming parliamentary elections he stressed that these elections are crucial and will shape Lebanon’s future. Some factions within the country are attempting to distort the electoral process to achieve their political objectives awaiting developments that would lead to gains for them.<\/p>\n
