Since the establishment of the Israeli regime in the 1940s, its leaders have pursued this dream through the bloodshed of countless innocent lives in the Middle East. Now, amid Syria’s instability following the potential collapse of Bashar al-Assad’s government, Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s most hardline prime minister, sees an opportunity to realize this long-held aspiration for a ‘Greater Israel.’

In this series, we will delve into the insidious plans of the Zionists against the Syrian populace and the future of the country, focusing on their attempts to fragment southern and eastern Syria.Israel’s proposed ‘David Corridor’ aims to connect Kurdish regions in Iraq and Syria, as well as the Druze areas in southern Syria, to its territory. The southern Syrian Druze regions, particularly in the Damascus countryside and Suwayda province, are viewed by Israel as prime investment areas for long-term strategic initiatives. The Druze, a religious minority with a thousand-year presence in the Levant, played a significant role in Syria’s modern formation and its struggle for independence in the early 20th century.

Israel also perceives the Euphrates River as a reliable water source for its occupied territories. The proposal to link southern Syria to Kurdish areas and create a water transfer channel from the Euphrates to the Golan Heights is part of the broader vision behind the David Corridor. But why are the Zionists so eager to establish such a corridor now? In the coming years, the world will witness significant transformations in major trade routes between East and West. A fierce competition exists among several well-known corridor proposals, with the most notable being China’s Belt and Road Initiative. This initiative aims to connect China to Europe via Iran and the Middle East. However, the question remains: which countries will facilitate this connection?

Can Syria, with its rich historical legacy, once again become a vital transit route between the East and West? Since Netanyahu introduced the India-to-Israel corridor at the United Nations, experts have identified it as a primary competitor to China’s new Silk Road. Given the greater feasibility of the Belt and Road Initiative over the India-Israel corridor, the Zionists view the David Corridor as a disruptive factor against China’s interests in Europe.Israel believes that Syria must never regain its former glory. If Syria achieves political stability and territorial integrity, it could once again play a crucial role as a transit hub in the China-Europe corridor. This would involve road and rail links through Iran and Iraq, connecting to several highways and railways in Syria, ultimately reaching Europe through two potential routes: one from east to west Syria to the ports of Latakia, Tartus, and Baniyas, and the other reviving the historical north-south railway line akin to the famous Hijaz railway during the Ottoman Empire.

Such a plan could bring significant economic benefits to the Syrian people, helping to maintain their integrity and reintegrate Syria into the global community as a stable nation. However, the Israeli regime, as the number one enemy of the region and especially of the suffering Syrian people, seeks to implement a divisive corridor scheme that undermines Syria’s interests and its potential as a vital transit route.Despite enduring 14 years of civil war and not being entirely satisfied with the new Damascus government the resilient Syrian people have remained silent in the face of the new Israeli occupation in Quneitra Daraa and the Damascus countryside primarily seeking relative peace. However they have bravely resisted the Zionist aggressors from the very first days of this new occupation opposing the dangerous plans for Syria’s fragmentation and the establishment of the David Corridor. Many young Syrians have been killed or injured during protests against the establishment of Israeli military bases in southern Syria.

In recent years, the Middle East has transformed into a battleground for various corridor initiatives, with Israel presenting multiple strategic concepts aimed at enhancing its commercial and security corridors.

[64

post-21709","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-palestine
["GET
