Most analysts believe that the operation has existential implications for Israel, leading the regime to perceive itself as facing an imminent threat from Palestinian resistance. Over the past two and a half years since the Al-Aqsa Storm, Israel has launched numerous wars in the region to overcome this challenge, yet it has failed to achieve its objectives.

Zarean emphasized that although Israel inflicted some damage on the resistance axis during these 28 months, including the assassination of key commanders and committing war crimes in Gaza—resulting in over 70,000 fatalities and widespread destruction—it has not accomplished its primary goal of dismantling the resistance axis. Thus, while Israel may have achieved tactical gains, it has been unable to convert these into strategic victories or significant achievements.Zarean pointed out that similar patterns are observed in Lebanon, where Israel has targeted figures like Sayyid Hassan and Lebanese resistance commanders. Even after a ceasefire, Israel has repeatedly violated it, attacking both military and civilian positions in an attempt to neutralize Hezbollah. However, it has not succeeded in this regard either.

The expert further noted that in relation to Iran, Yemen, and Iraq, Israel has failed to meet its strategic objectives, which center on the annihilation of resistance forces. Instead of overcoming its surrounding security challenges, Israel finds itself increasingly cornered, suffering serious setbacks across various domains.

Zarean highlighted the growing global public disdain for Zionism, noting a widespread aversion to the Israeli regime. Today, the world is more aware of the regime’s true nature and objectives, rendering previous propaganda efforts to portray itself as a victim ineffective. The narrative of Israeli victimhood has been debunked, and the façade has crumbled. He stressed that following the Al-Aqsa Storm the recognition of Palestine by various countries has accelerated while the normalization of relations between Israel and Arab nations has come to a halt. Internal divisions within the Israeli regime have intensified over the past two years leading to a significant wave of emigration from the occupied territories to other countries.

Zarean concluded that an evaluation of the post-Al-Aqsa Storm landscape reveals that the Israeli regime has suffered a severe and irreparable blow. It has failed to manage political security and military dynamics in Gaza the West Asian region and globally and has not achieved any decisive victories incurring substantial losses instead.

He asserted that this trend will continue with resistance becoming increasingly resilient and rooted as long as the regime persists in its occupation. Resistance is not a manufactured phenomenon; it is inherent to human nature. The fight against occupation and aggression is part of humanity’s essence and as long as acts of aggression and occupation exist the struggle and resistance will endure.

Experts highlight the surge in global recognition of Palestine and the halt of normalization processes with Israel as significant outcomes of the Al-Aqsa Storm.

[64

post-21667","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-palestine
["GET
