According to reports from international news agencies, Muqtada al-Sadr, the leader of the Sadrist movement in Iraq, has vehemently condemned the statements made by Mike Huckabee, the US Ambassador in Israel, regarding Israel’s sovereignty from the Nile to the Euphrates. Al-Sadr’s statement strongly denounces Huckabee’s remarks as outrageous and unfounded.<\/p>\n
In his statement, he expressed, ‘This American fool has issued a controversial fatwa within the Zionist regime. Since when do secularists have the right to issue fatwas? And how can the irreligious act according to heavenly narratives? They oppose the holy scriptures, including the Torah, and consider it permissible to burn and insult them.’Further in his statement, al-Sadr remarked, ‘Issuing backward and barbaric statements that hold no credibility is unacceptable. The Torah promises the oppressed among the righteous and reformers that they will be made leaders and heirs of the prophets and messengers, many of whom were killed by the Jews, whom Moses disavowed as enemies of heaven and earth.’<\/p>\n
Al-Sadr emphasized, ‘Indeed, that dubious fatwa issued by that fool is nothing but a waste of innocent blood in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq, continuing the massacre of thousands of prophets of Israel and the righteous.’He stressed that Huckabee’s comments contradict all international and diplomatic standards urging all international and Islamic organizations to rein in the Zionist regime which he described as a bloodthirsty terrorist monster with colonial expansionist ambitions similar to the rhetoric of the ISIS terrorist group.<\/p>\n
