On the second Friday of Ramadan approximately 100000 worshippers gathered at Al-Aqsa Mosque despite stringent security measures imposed by Israeli occupation forces. This significant turnout highlights the deep commitment of the Muslim community to observe their religious practices in one of Islam’s holiest sites.
Israeli forces implemented extensive restrictions and established checkpoints to hinder thousands of Palestinians from entering Jerusalem and accessing Al-Aqsa Mosque. Nevertheless a large crowd of worshippers made their way from various regions to participate in the sacred prayers demonstrating resilience and devotion amid challenging circumstances.
