Security Alert: New Espionage Tactics Used by Occupiers in Gaza

A serious warning has been issued regarding the modern espionage techniques employed by Israeli intelligence services to deceive Palestinian citizens. The security website ‘Al-Majd’, associated with the resistance movement in Gaza, has raised alarms about the increasing attempts by these services to establish contact with the local populace.

According to the report, resistance security agencies have recently received numerous complaints and security signals indicating both direct and indirect efforts to reach out to citizens. The stated intent behind these communications is for security and intelligence purposes, essentially espionage.

The methods outlined in the report encompass a wide range of tactics. These include direct phone calls, SMS messages, and interactions through various social media platforms. Additionally, there are reports of exploiting the humanitarian and economic needs of the people, as well as impersonating charitable organizations and health institutions. The security source further highlighted that the occupying army has resorted to distributing paper notices and announcements containing contact numbers for intelligence officers. Moreover the occupying forces are creating and managing fake social media accounts in an effort to lure citizens into providing information and ensnaring them in their traps.

Al-Majd urges all citizens to remain vigilant and to refrain from responding to any suspicious communications. It is also emphasized that any attempts at contact from unknown sources should be reported promptly to the relevant security authorities. Given that the intelligence tools of the Israeli regime are continually evolving ongoing awareness and caution against unreliable communications are essential to thwarting the adversary’s plans.
