Lindsey Graham Compares Israel’s Actions in Gaza to U.S. WWII Bombings

In a recent statement regarding the conflict in Gaza, American Republican Senator Lindsey Graham asserted that Israel will take whatever measures are necessary to conclude its military operations. He suggested that the Israeli government might adopt a strategy similar to the United States’ actions against Tokyo and Berlin during World War II.

During an interview with Kristen Welker on NBC’s ‘Meet the Press,’ Graham emphasized that Israel should be permitted to do whatever is required to bring an end to the war. He referenced the attack on Pearl Harbor and the subsequent entry of the United States into World War II, noting that the U.S. made the controversial decision to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki with nuclear weapons to hasten the end of the conflict, describing this action as the right choice.
