Emergency Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to Address Israeli Annexation Decisions

These developments follow the Israeli government’s agreement in February to initiate a land registration process in the West Bank, marking the first such decision since 1967. Palestinians, along with Arab and Islamic nations, have condemned this action as a dangerous shift towards the annexation of Palestinian territories and have raised concerns about its political and legal ramifications.
