Houthi Condemns Israeli Actions in Gaza as Historical Atrocities
The leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, has denounced the actions of Israel in Gaza as some of the worst atrocities in history. In a recent speech during Ramadan, he highlighted the aggressive expansionist plans of the Israeli regime and underscored that its attacks on Lebanon aim to strip the country of its defensive capabilities. Al-Houthi asserted that those who commit such heinous acts have never sought peace and do not intend to do so in the future.
In his address, he criticized certain regional countries for their attempts at normalizing relations with Israel, stating that these actions only exacerbate the suffering of nations. He warned that the blind approach of some governments in empowering the enemy will lead to significant repercussions, although he believes that the time for the downfall of the Israeli regime will inevitably arrive.Al-Houthi further elaborated on the ongoing situation in Lebanon asserting that the enemy’s current actions against the Lebanese people and their continuous targeting of Hezbollah are designed to disarm the nation of all its protective resources. Addressing those who seek peace with Israel he emphasized that the Israeli adversary has no genuine interest in establishing peace with Lebanon.
He also criticized the dual approach of some parties regarding the Palestinian issue pointing out that while they may issue statements to appease the Palestinian people they simultaneously funnel their resources into the pockets of the Israeli enemy. In conclusion al-Houthi warned that the Islamic community faces a grave threat and due to the neglect of divine promises is paying a heavy price in critical matters. He believes that the only path to salvation lies in a sincere return to faith in divine promises moving forward with hope and trust in God and employing effective and decisive strategies.
