Islamic Jihad Movement Leader Critiques U.S. Peace Council as Theatrical Farce

Mohammad Hindi the Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement of Palestine recently addressed the latest developments concerning U.S. proposals for Gaza. He characterized these plans as disconnected from the ground realities emphasizing a significant gap between Washington’s narrative and the actual situation on the ground.

Hindi stated “What we witnessed in Washington was merely a theatrical performance lacking any connection to the tangible realities faced by the people in Gaza.” His remarks highlighted the contradictions inherent in U.S. policies particularly in relation to its support for Israel.

He further asserted “We do not believe that a nation which supplies arms to Israel for the purpose of devastating Gaza while simultaneously obstructing the delivery of humanitarian aid tents and temporary shelters can genuinely gather resources for the reconstruction of Gaza or assist its people.”
