Human Rights Violations in Gaza: Alarming Statistics and Humanitarian Concerns
The Gaza Human Rights Center has reported that since the ceasefire agreement in October 2025, a staggering 642 Palestinians have lost their lives. This data, compiled over a span of 133 days, reveals an average of 13.5 violations of the agreement occurring daily. According to the center, these breaches undermine the very essence of the ceasefire, transforming it into a facade for ongoing violations.
The center emphasizes that targeting children and women constitutes a violation of the Geneva Conventions. Furthermore, it has been noted that the occupying regime has failed to adhere to its commitment to allow the daily entry of 600 trucks of humanitarian aid, with actual aid deliveries not exceeding 43 percent of this promise. The inflow of fuel has been even more dismal, reaching only 15 percent, which has severely disrupted essential services.Additionally the center highlighted the ongoing restrictions at the Rafah land crossing indicating that compliance with obligations in this regard has not exceeded 40.3 percent. These statistics paint a grim picture of the humanitarian situation in Gaza underscoring the urgent need for accountability and adherence to international humanitarian laws.
