Kuwait and Iraq Condemn U.S. Ambassador’s Statements on Arab Territories

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait has expressed strong disapproval of statements made by Mike Huckabee, the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, regarding the acceptance of Israeli control over Arab territories. The ministry emphasized that these remarks represent a blatant violation of international law.

In its official statement, Kuwait warned that such declarations could exacerbate tensions and undermine regional stability. It further pointed out that Huckabee’s comments contradict the previously stated positions of former President Donald Trump, asserting that there is no Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territories or any other Arab lands.Similarly the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq issued a statement characterizing Huckabee’s remarks as a dangerous transgression. The Iraqi ministry highlighted that these comments conflict with the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter jeopardizing the sovereignty independence and territorial integrity of nations.
