According to Al-Alam, Rami Abou Hamdan, a Hezbollah representative in the Lebanese Parliament, responded to the recent Israeli incursions into Lebanese territory, stating that the blood of Lebanese people is invaluable. He emphasized the necessity for the government to enact profound changes in its approach to defending the homeland.

Abou Hamdan remarked that the current dialogue is not with the enemy, who only understands the language of force, but rather with the Lebanese government, which bears the responsibility for the security and well-being of its citizens, as well as the sovereignty of the nation.

He pointed out that mere condemnations have become ineffective, and the events unfolding in Baalbek and the ongoing nightly incidents in southern Lebanon should not be treated as normal occurrences. The Hezbollah member insisted that the government must not act merely as a political analyst, stating that it should not merely acknowledge Israeli attacks as a routine matter before each meeting of the mechanism committee. The minimum stance should be to suspend committee meetings until the enemy’s aggressions cease, which should be a test for the committee and its supporters.

Abou Hamdan stressed the need for swift and effective government action, urging the country to confront its responsibilities with determination, free from policies of submission, as yielding would only embolden the enemy to escalate its threats against Lebanon and its citizens.

He warned that political maneuvers without strength and power merely waste time and increase the casualties and damages to the nation.Addressing the resistance’s youth he declared that the noblest people will remain noble as they are the children of martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. He noted that those in hospitals today are not crying out in pain but rather voicing resistance and resilience.

In conclusion the Hezbollah representative stated that the criminal enemy should know that it will forever be an enemy of humanity and all people and with the presence of the faithful it will inevitably face defeat.
