Rising Settler Population in the West Bank: New Statistics Unveiled

Recent claims by Israeli Channel 12 indicate that according to data released by the Settlement Council the population of Israeli settlers in the West Bank is projected to reach 540327 by January 2026.

This figure represents a significant presence across approximately 150 settlements scattered throughout various regions of the West Bank.

Despite widespread international opposition the expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank continues to escalate. The Israeli government is reportedly engaged in a systematic campaign involving the demolition of Palestinian homes and the confiscation of their lands. This strategy aims to force the original inhabitants to relocate thereby facilitating the resettlement of Israeli settlers in their place and undermining any future prospects for the establishment of a Palestinian state.
