Iran Condemns Israeli Airstrikes on Lebanon and Calls for Accountability

Iran has officially condemned the recent airstrikes conducted by the Israeli regime against Lebanon. The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nasser Kanaani highlighted the ongoing violation of Lebanon’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity. He described the continued silence and inaction of the United Nations Security Council regarding these unlawful acts and atrocities committed by Israel as catastrophic.

Kanaani emphasized the direct responsibility of the United States and France as guarantors of the ceasefire in perpetuating this alarming situation. He called for immediate action to address these violations and restore peace in the region.
