The Attorney General of Israel has summoned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to provide explanations to the police regarding the case of ‘leaking confidential documents.’ This inquiry is rooted in suspicions of attempts to obstruct investigations related to the unauthorized disclosure of sensitive Israeli documents to the German newspaper ‘Bild.’
Netanyahu is expected to clarify how information was obtained from his office in connection with this matter. Recently Tsachi Braverman Netanyahu’s chief of staff was arrested on suspicion of trying to impede the investigation into the leak of sensitive documents to foreign media.
