According to a report from the Hebrew news agency Tasnim, the Ma’ariv newspaper published an editorial in today’s Friday edition, admitting that in any outcome of the negotiations between the United States and Iran, apart from military action, Israel would emerge as the biggest loser. This is especially true given the severe blows inflicted by Iran’s missile capabilities and its allied forces, including Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Islamic Jihad. The editorial further states that one clear and obvious issue has emerged: Israel is significantly distanced from the point it had widely boasted about which it termed a decisive victory. This reality is evident in both Gaza and Lebanon not to mention Iran. Therefore officials would be wise to consider the state of reserve forces as it appears that this reserve capability could be what ultimately safeguards us against looming threats.
