According to a report by the Hebrew news agency Tasnim, Israeli journalist Amit Sigal disclosed that currently, 5.25% of the Israeli population has been relocated and settled in the West Bank.

He highlighted statistics from official settlement organizations, indicating that by January 2026, the number of Israeli migrants, commonly known as settlers, in Judea and Samaria (West Bank) is projected to reach 540,327 individuals across 150 different locations.Sigal acknowledged that the growth rate of settlers in the West Bank is 2.01% nearly double the average population growth rate in Israel which stands at 1.1%.

In a related report the newspaper Israel Hayom admitted that the largest settlements including Modiin Efrat Beitar Illit Ma’ale Adumim and Ariel currently house a combined population of 230252 people experiencing a population growth of 1.75%.
