Bethlehem Worshippers March to Al-Aqsa Mosque Amid Heightened Security

On the second Friday of the holy month of Ramadan residents of Bethlehem in the West Bank began their journey towards the Al-Aqsa Mosque early in the morning. They made their way to the 300 checkpoint to participate in Friday prayers in Jerusalem.

This gathering occurs despite the intensified security measures and restrictions imposed by Israeli forces at the checkpoint. In the face of these obstacles worshippers remain determined to reach the Al-Aqsa Mosque and engage in the second Friday prayer of Ramadan.
