According to reports from Palestinian news outlets, Israeli airstrikes have intensified in Gaza, particularly targeting areas near Khan Younis, where three Palestinians were killed. Additional strikes hit eastern regions of the city, escalating tensions further.
In a separate incident, a drone attack on a police checkpoint on Salah al-Din Street at the entrance of Al-Bureij refugee camp resulted in one Palestinian fatality and left another wounded.Israeli fighter jets also targeted Rafah in southern Gaza and the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in the eastern part of Gaza City, contributing to the ongoing violence.
Simultaneously, reports indicate that Israeli military incursions into the West Bank continue unabated. Israeli forces launched attacks in Qalqilya, the village of Aourta southeast of Nablus, the city of Mithlon south of Jenin, Al-Ram north of occupied Jerusalem, and the Aida refugee camp north of Bethlehem.In Tulkarm, Israeli troops raided several homes in Deir al-Ghusun, detaining five Palestinians. Additionally, two Palestinians were injured after Israeli forces opened fire on a vehicle near Deir Jarir, northeast of Ramallah in the West Bank.Israeli soldiers also fired sound grenades at Palestinian vehicles near the entrance of Silwad and conducted raids in the village of Badrus west of Silwad. Furthermore, incursions were reported in Wadi al-Jawaya in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, and the city of Sa’ir, north of Hebron.In a related incident Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian homes in Wadi al-Tayran in Al-Zahiriya exacerbating the already tense situation.
