Islamic Cooperation Organization Warns Against Rising Tensions with Iran

The Islamic Cooperation Organization has issued a warning regarding the escalating tensions directed at Iran. During an extraordinary meeting the Executive Committee condemned the policies of settlement expansion and annexation in the West Bank while expressing deep concern over recent threats against the Islamic Republic of Iran. They characterized any resort to force against a sovereign nation as a blatant violation of international law.

This meeting underscored the necessity of implementing the plan proposed by Donald Trump the President of the United States and advancing to its second phase which calls for a complete and permanent ceasefire along with the total withdrawal of Israeli forces. The committee reaffirmed the unity of Palestinian territories as a crucial aspect of their discussions.

In another section of the statement participants voiced serious concerns about the increasing tensions and the escalation of confrontational rhetoric in the Middle East. They highlighted recent threats to use force against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the provocative deployment of aggressive military forces in the region. The statement emphasized that any threat to use force or its actual application against a sovereign state constitutes a clear violation of international law.
