Escalation of Airstrikes in Gaza: Casualties Reported in Khan Younis and Al-Bureij

The Israeli military continues to violate the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip intensifying airstrikes across the region. In the early hours today multiple areas in the southern and central parts of Gaza were targeted resulting in numerous casualties.

Israeli fighter jets and drones struck a police station located in the ‘Al-Maslak’ area west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Following this assault at least three individuals were reported killed and several others injured with medical sources indicating that the condition of some wounded individuals is critical.

Another attack occurred in central Gaza where an Israeli drone targeted a different police facility at the entrance of the Al-Bureij refugee camp. This strike led to at least one fatality and several injuries. Additionally the vicinity of the ‘Abu Hajir’ station in the northwest of the camp was also subjected to bombardment.

Reports indicate that further airstrikes have targeted western and eastern Khan Younis as well as the city of Rafah in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
