According to Mehr News Agency, citing Russia Today, the Foreign Ministry of the Ansarullah-affiliated government in Yemen stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s trip to the occupied territories signifies India’s retreat from its supportive stance on the Palestinian issue.
This ministry emphasized in a statement that standing alongside the Israeli regime equates to siding with the oppressor against the victim. The statement further noted that the Israeli regime has committed horrific acts of genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza with these atrocities continuing unabated. Over 72000 individuals have been martyred and 171 others have been injured. While Israel faces global condemnation India is attempting to draw closer to this regime and assist it.
Additionally the statement highlighted that the provision of consular services by the U.S. Embassy within an illegal settlement in the West Bank serves as another indication of this country’s efforts to undermine the Palestinian cause and its complicity in Tel Aviv’s crimes. Yemen remains steadfast in its support for the Palestinians and their legitimate struggle to reclaim their rights in the pursuit of establishing a Palestinian state.
