According to a report from the Political Group of Defense Press, a meeting for organizing the International Quds Day event was held today (Thursday) at the Coordination Council for Islamic Advertising in Tehran Province. Representatives from various governmental and organizational bodies participated, engaging in discussions about special programs for Quds Day.
Hojjatoleslam Seyed Mohsen Mahmoudi, the head of the Coordination Council, expressed gratitude for the remarkable and historic participation of the people of Tehran in the February 22 march, highlighting the collaboration of officials and agencies in achieving this significant event. He emphasized the need for meticulous planning to ensure a magnificent Quds Day march.Hojjatoleslam Mahmoudi announced that the Quds Day march will take place on Friday March 22 2024 following ten designated routes leading to the University of Tehran.
This official also noted that similar marches will occur in cities and districts across Tehran Province departing from specified locations towards Friday prayer sites.
The head of the Quds Week Committee in Tehran stressed the importance of educating the public about the issues surrounding Quds and Palestine utilizing the opportunity presented by the nights of Qadr and gatherings during the holy month of Ramadan.
