Violent Assault on Palestinian Homes Leaves Families in Terror

A harrowing incident unfolded in the village of Susya located in southern Hebron where a violent attack by armed settlers resulted in a bloody breaking of the fast for Palestinian families. This assault involved approximately 50 settlers and led to the destruction of seven homes leaving numerous women and children injured.

During this aggressive incursion settlers employed physical violence unleashed pepper spray and fired tear gas at the local population. The result was a scene of chaos with dozens of individuals primarily children women and the elderly suffering from suffocation and unconsciousness. The flames engulfing seven homes and a tent which served as shelter for these families ignited widespread panic among the residents.
