Iran’s Defensive Stance on Missile Capabilities

The Iranian Foreign Minister has asserted that the country’s missile systems are fundamentally defensive in nature. He emphasized that these missiles are designed solely for deterrence and to bolster Iran’s self-defense capabilities.

In a strategic decision Iran has intentionally limited the range of its missiles to 2000 kilometers. This measure underscores the nation’s commitment to defensive posturing rather than aggressive military ambitions.

The minister clarified that Iran did not initiate the recent conflicts attributing the provocations to Israeli and subsequently American actions. From Iran’s perspective their military responses are legitimate acts of self-defense even if they may be viewed as unlawful by external observers.
