Iran’s Strategic Diplomacy: A Lesson for Adversaries

The Islamic Republic of Iran adeptly combines public diplomacy with defensive strategies in its international engagements. Tomorrow Thursday Seyed Abbas Araghchi will travel to Geneva to continue discussions with the American delegation. While optimism towards the United States may be cautious the outcomes of these indirect negotiations facilitated by Oman remain to be seen.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is undertaking its responsibilities in alignment with the higher authorities of the system through these negotiations. Concurrently we have witnessed the visit of two defense officials to our country a journey that conveys a significant message to the United States and the Israeli regime.

Suren Papikyan the Minister of Defense of Armenia recently visited Tehran and was welcomed by Amir Aziz Nasirzadeh the Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Support of the Islamic Republic of Iran. During this meeting the Iranian Minister of Defense emphasized the importance of maintaining the territorial integrity of regional countries and expressed opposition to any foreign interference in regional developments.
