Iran’s Defensive Missile Strategy: A Statement from the Foreign Minister

The Iranian Foreign Minister has asserted that the country’s missile capabilities are fundamentally defensive in nature. He emphasized that these missiles have been developed solely for deterrence purposes aimed at bolstering Iran’s self-defense.

Furthermore he revealed that Iran has intentionally restricted the range of its missiles to 2000 kilometers. This decision underscores the nation’s commitment to defensive measures rather than offensive aggression.

The minister clarified that Iran did not initiate any conflict attributing the provocations to Israel and subsequently the United States. He maintained that the actions taken by Iran are purely defensive characterizing them as legitimate under international law despite potential perceptions of illegality from other nations.
