Strengthening Ties: The IMEC Corridor Initiative Connecting India and Israel

During a recent address in the Knesset Benjamin Netanyahu alongside Narendra Modi emphasized the collaborative efforts underway to develop the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC). This ambitious initiative aims to establish a comprehensive land and sea route that links India through the Arabian Peninsula to the port of Haifa ultimately extending to the Mediterranean and Europe.

Netanyahu highlighted that the success and sustainability of this corridor hinge on its passage through stable and secure nations. In this context he asserted that no countries are more powerful and secure than Israel and India. He welcomed Modi’s commitment to ensuring that Israel via the port of Haifa serves as a vital connection point between Asia and Europe.
