Cyber Attack on Israel’s Largest Health Organization by Hacker Group
A significant cyber assault has targeted the largest healthcare organization in Israel known as Clalit Health Services. The hacker group identifying itself as ‘Hanzala’ announced their infiltration into Clalit’s extensive network which encompasses hundreds of clinics and several hospitals.
Claiming to be soldiers of the resistance front the group has dubbed their operation ‘Justice for the Oppressed’. They assert that their actions have rendered Clalit’s network inoperative posing a serious challenge to the security of Israel’s healthcare infrastructure.
In a statement the hackers disclosed sensitive medical information pertaining to over 10000 patients as evidence of their breach. They argue that the purported security of the Israeli regime has collapsed under their will.
The group described their operation as a legitimate response to decades of occupation and crimes against the people labeling it as a ‘small warning’. They emphasized that should the regime’s transgressions continue more severe responses will follow. This incident represents a notable blow to the symbolic infrastructure of healthcare in Israel and raises significant concerns regarding cybersecurity.
