Examining Trump’s Claims on Iran’s Missile Development
In recent statements former President Donald Trump has asserted that Iran is developing missiles capable of threatening Europe and U.S. military bases in the region. He further claims that these advancements include missiles that could potentially reach American soil.
However this assertion has been met with strong rebuttals. Experts argue that Trump’s claims regarding Iran’s missile capabilities are unfounded and largely influenced by pressure from the Israeli regime. Iranian officials have consistently maintained that their missiles serve defensive purposes only.
Over the past four decades Iran has utilized its missile technology solely for defensive operations never employing it for offensive strikes against any nation. Furthermore missiles are classified as conventional military weapons and under international law sovereign nations possess the right to develop and maintain such defensive tools. Thus the narrative presented by Trump is deemed to be entirely baseless.
