Response to Trump’s Claims in Congress: A Call for Accurate Information

The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament has responded to statements made by the President of the United States during a congressional session, emphasizing the importance of making informed decisions based on accurate information.

In his remarks, the U.S. President cited a figure of 32,000 casualties, reiterating a claim that has been widely disputed. The Speaker highlighted that such statements come from groups with a history of terrorism, which have perpetrated crimes in Iran, resulting in the loss of 17,000 lives, including ordinary citizens, the President, the Prime Minister, and members of Parliament. Despite this tragic history, similar claims continue to surface.

On February 11, a notable figure questioned why the Iranian populace does not exhibit fear. The answer is clear: there is a profound misunderstanding and lack of knowledge about the Iranian nation.

Addressing Trump directly, the Speaker reminded him that while negotiations were ongoing, he, along with the Israeli regime, launched an attack against Iran, leading to a humiliating defeat that was evident to all. Therefore, he urged caution, advising against making decisions based on misleading information.
