Iranian Government Denounces False Reports from Foreign Media

The office of Hassan Rouhani has issued a statement addressing the false narratives propagated by foreign media outlets. The unfounded scenarios presented by Le Figaro and The New York Times were so clearly fictional that they garnered no response outside the media involved in this psychological operation against Iran.

In an official announcement the public relations office of the President during the eleventh and twelfth terms labeled the foreign media reports regarding cleric Hassan Rouhani as fabrications asserting that they are part of a psychological campaign orchestrated by American and Israeli sources. These sources have relied on dubious information which has not only undermined their professional credibility but also raised questions about the integrity of their other reports.

Recently entirely false claims have been disseminated in two American and European publications making baseless allegations against cleric Dr. Hassan Rouhani the former President of Iran. Instead of being mere media reports these claims have morphed into imaginative scenarios.

By disseminating false news and relying on unverified sources Le Figaro and The New York Times have jeopardized their professional integrity and compromised the trust in their other journalistic endeavors.

Such fabrications regarding Dr. Rouhani Dr. Mohammad Javad Zarif and other political figures are part of a broader psychological operation by American and Israeli sources aimed at sowing doubt and concern among the Iranian public. This effort complements the maximum pressure campaign through economic sanctions and military threats.

The implausibility of the narratives from Le Figaro and The New York Times was so apparent that they failed to elicit any reaction outside the media engaged in this anti-Iranian psychological operation. This is indicative not only of the vigilance of the Iranian people and the astuteness of domestic media but also highlights the significant disconnect these foreign outlets have from the current realities decision-making processes and political and security dynamics in Iran.
