According to reports from the International News Agency Tasnim, the Al-Mayadeen news network has reported a renewed violation of the ceasefire in southern Lebanon. It was noted that the occupying forces fired from a newly established site in Tal al-Hamamess towards the town of Khyam.
The report indicated that the aggressors also targeted Wadi al-Asafir south of Khyam and the area of Sarda in southern Lebanon.These attacks coincide with the Lebanese Army’s deployment in three new positions within the region. Following the escalation of brutal incursions by Israeli forces in Lebanese territory which resulted in the martyrdom of over ten individuals and injuries to dozens more in the south and east of the country on Friday night Mahmoud Qamati the Deputy Head of the Political Council of Hezbollah stated that there is no option but to resist for self-defense.
He emphasized that the ceasefire agreement has been in place for a year but remains unimplemented. He questioned whether the government and certain factions aligned with the enemy have finally realized that diplomacy and international relations are ineffective in countering these aggressions.
