According to reports, the gathering of activists and NGOs supporting the Palestinian cause was organized by the Palestine Defense Society at their headquarters in Tehran.

Mohammad Hassan Rahimian, Secretary-General of the Palestine Defense Society, honored the memory of Imam Khomeini and highlighted his efforts in bringing attention to the Palestinian issue. He stated that Imam Khomeini, in his historic first speech, emphasized exposing the crimes of Israel and the ties between the Pahlavi regime and the Zionist regime.

He added that after the Islamic Revolution’s victory, Imam Khomeini introduced Quds Day in the first month of Ramadan in 1979, declaring it a day of Islam. This profound perspective shows that for Imam Khomeini, Quds Day transcends ethnicity and region.Rahimian asserted that the most crucial point Imam Khomeini made about Palestine was that Israel must be erased from the pages of history. He noted that in those years, the true nature of the Zionist regime was not fully understood, but Imam Khomeini’s positions allow us to grasp his strategic vision today.

During the gathering, Rahimian urged media activists to focus on two key areas. Firstly, to strive for a Quds Day that stands out from previous years, reflecting the efforts of the Iranian people.

Secondly, he expressed concern that recent events indicate part of society, particularly younger generations, have been influenced by media aligned with the enemy. Here, the role of media activists in the concept of “Jihad Tabyin” becomes increasingly vital. In his concluding remarks, Rahimian stated that Iran and the Zionist regime represent two opposing forces, where one must be destroyed. He emphasized that the defeated force is the false one, and the victorious force is the true one; thus, victory will undoubtedly belong to Iran, with Palestine symbolizing our ultimate triumph over falsehood.

Nasser Abu Sharif, a representative of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, praised the unparalleled resilience of the Palestinian people. He remarked that we are witnessing a legendary resistance against the occupiers, centered in occupied Jerusalem.

He emphasized that the Palestinian people stand on the front lines of this battle with unwavering determination, and while this resistance will be recorded in history, its continuation and the protection of sacred sites require comprehensive and robust support from the entire Islamic Ummah.Abu Sharif highlighted the challenging living conditions and struggles in Jerusalem, noting that despite immense pressures, the people of Jerusalem have maintained their stronghold. However, this steadfastness requires significant and continuous support from the Islamic community. Since 1948, the Zionist enemy has exerted all efforts to Judaize Jerusalem and erase its Islamic identity, yet today we assert that these policies have failed due to the resilience of our people.

He described the Palestinian cause as a transnational issue, belonging to the hearts of all Muslims and freedom-loving individuals worldwide. He also mentioned the victory in the battle of narratives, stating that during the Gaza conflict, resistance media succeeded in dismantling the empire of lies and fake narratives propagated by the Zionists. This media struggle has led to an unprecedented awakening in Western societies, with over 60% of young Americans taking a firm stance against Israel.Abu Sharif concluded by stating that the fundamental philosophy of Quds Day is unity and solidarity in defense of the first Qibla of Muslims. It is time for Muslims to set aside their differences and unite around the cause of Jerusalem. Quds Day represents the reorientation of the Islamic world towards the primary issue of Muslims: the complete liberation of Palestine. It is a day to renew allegiance to a nation that courageously rewrites history through its steadfastness.

Ramadan Sharif, head of the Central Committee for Commemoration of the Intifada and Quds Day, warned that if Americans commit an act of folly against Iran, they will face the greatest blow in history, resulting in nothing but disgrace and humiliation for them.

He emphasized that the fate of American forces in the region will mirror that of Saddam’s generals, ISIS commanders, and mercenary groups. Sharif further highlighted the significance of the 46th anniversary of Quds Day as a symbol of global resistance and solidarity against occupation. He expressed hope for a vibrant turnout on Quds Day, reminiscent of the fervor seen during national events like February 11 and December 22, to once again demoralize the enemies.

General Sharif described Imam Khomeini’s designation of Quds Day as a wise and strategic move, occurring on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, a time filled with spirituality for Muslims. He explained that this designation has countered the Zionist media empire’s attempts to conceal its atrocities and keeps the issue of occupation alive for generations.

According to him, this action has neutralized the enemies’ strategies and consistently brings the issue of Palestinian occupation to global attention.General Sharif mentioned the achievements of the “Storm of Al-Aqsa” operation, stating that despite the enemy’s attempts to distort the narrative, this operation has yielded significant results. He remarked that today, the world is witnessing glimpses of the crimes committed by the Zionists, and the messages of Imam Khomeini, articulated decades ago, are being understood by global public opinion, especially within Western societies and universities, where professors echo those same sentiments. He also referenced the successes of the “Promised Victory” operation, noting that the enemies have suffered heavy blows since its initiation, seeking a ceasefire from the fourth day, while still concealing the extent of the damages incurred.

General Sharif characterized the enemies’ attempts to create unrest and casualties within the country as a strategy to distract attention from the developments and killings in Gaza, evaluating the statistics released by the enemies regarding the recent protests as an attempt to downplay the atrocities occurring in Gaza.

He asserted that contrary to past efforts by enemies to suggest a disconnect between Palestine and Iran, the Zionist regime has proven that it is not only an enemy of the Palestinian people but also the number one enemy of the Iranian people and all Muslims. In conclusion, General Sharif emphasized that the primary responsibility of activists and NGOs supporting Palestine is to enlighten, clarify truths, raise awareness, and counter the enemy’s media propaganda.

Mohammad Javad Iravani, author of the book “Crisis in the Economy of the Zionist Regime” (focusing on the impacts of the Storm of Al-Aqsa operation), stressed that Zionism was established in 1897 during a meeting in Basel, Switzerland, and since then, support for the formation of the Zionist regime has evolved through numerous events.

He further pointed to the GDP indicators in the occupied territories, which have noticeably declined due to the Storm of Al-Aqsa operation, causing significant issues for the regime.Iravani also highlighted the debts of the Zionist regime and the depreciation of its currency following the Storm of Al-Aqsa operation a matter acknowledged in foreign journals. He emphasized that one of the most critical forms of support for the Zionist regime comes from its foreign backers including AIPAC and the Jewish Agency. One essential action for Islamic countries is to dollarize their economies and strengthen support for the Palestinian resistance.

At the conclusion of the event the book “Crisis in the Economy of the Zionist Regime” by Dr. Mohammad Javad Iravani was unveiled. A caricature exhibition on the theme of Palestine was also held alongside the gathering.
