According to a report from the International News Agency, the findings from two organizations, Airshot and Forensic Architecture, indicate that Israeli soldiers fired nearly a thousand bullets at a humanitarian convoy linked to the Red Crescent and Civil Defense in the Tel Sultan area of northern Rafah.

On March 23, 2025, at least 15 aid workers in southern Gaza were killed by gunfire from Israeli forces. The report highlights that soldiers fired eight shots from very close range at this convoy, which was clearly marked as a humanitarian mission. The shooting lasted over two hours without any threat posed to the soldiers or any return fire directed at them.The report emphasizes that the convoy was moving with clear and visible signs identifying it as a humanitarian operation yet it was attacked. Local sources in Gaza also reported that some individuals who survived the initial assault were executed on the ground. Autopsy reports indicate that these victims were shot at close range specifically targeting their heads and chests. Disturbingly one body was found decapitated.
