According to reports from Mehr News Agency citing Al Jazeera, Hamas described the arson of the mosque in the village of Tal, west of Nablus, as a premeditated fascist crime. This attack was characterized as a blatant assault on places of worship and Islamic sanctities.

In its statement, Hamas asserted that this incident is part of the ongoing assaults by settlers against Islamic holy sites, reflecting targeted policies aimed at instigating tension and insecurity in Palestinian territories.

The movement also urged the Palestinian people to mobilize extensively to protect mosques and sacred sites against settler aggression and to confront these recurring violations.
