According to reports from international news agencies, Mahmoud Mardawi, a leading figure in Hamas, declared on Monday that the actions taking place in the occupiers’ prisons, particularly in Negev Prison during the holy month of Ramadan, are part of the official strategy of the terrorist occupiers to exert pressure on Palestinian detainees.

This Hamas leader emphasized that the increase in torture, medical neglect, and deprivation of basic necessities such as food and water are indicative of the aggressive approach adopted by the occupying terrorist government. He asserted that the occupiers’ goal is to break the will of the detainees and weaken their resilience.Mahmoud Mardawi holds the occupiers fully responsible for the dangerous consequences of this escalation, especially concerning sick and elderly prisoners, and warned of the potential for heightened tensions within the prisons.

He further stated that targeting detainees with such oppressive policies will not lead to their submission; rather, it will only enhance their steadfastness. The prisoners will continue to represent the dignity of the nation and stand as living symbols of resistance against their captors.Mardawi called upon the people of the West Bank Jerusalem and all free individuals within the occupied territories to intensify grassroots activities in support of the detainees. He urged everyone to activate all fronts of confrontation in solidarity with the prisoners and to ensure that they and their families are not left alone during these challenging times.
