According to reports from the news agency Mehr, José Manuel Albares Bueno, Spain’s Foreign Minister, stated that the massacre in Gaza continues unabated, and aid has been halted at the borders.
He emphasized that the European Union possesses tools that should be utilized against the Israeli government’s actions, stating that Brussels’ silence in response to Tel Aviv’s operations in the West Bank and efforts to displace Palestinians is incomprehensible.In another part of his address Albares commented on Hungary’s opposition to the new sanctions package against Russia asserting the need for consensus on Ukraine as Hungary’s actions do not contribute to peace in the region.
Albares also criticized the tariffs imposed by former President Donald Trump against countries worldwide labeling Washington’s tariffs as an infringement on Europe’s sovereignty.
