According to a report from the political correspondent of Tasnim News Agency, the second press conference of the Central Committee for the Commemoration of International Quds Day was held today, featuring Major General Ramadan Sharif, the head of the committee, at the Coordination Council for Islamic Advertising.
Major General Sharif emphasized the upcoming 46th International Quds Day rally on March 13, stating that this year, with heightened motivation and fervor beyond previous years, we will express our unwavering support for the Palestinian people and the resistance front in their quest for the liberation of Al-Quds and the dismantling of the Zionist regime. He highlighted that the second national rally in Iran following the Islamic Revolution is dedicated to the Palestinian cause.He praised Imam Khomeini’s foresight in labeling the Zionist regime as a ‘cancerous tumor,’ noting that global public opinion has now recognized this reality. In less than two years, over 90,000 innocent lives have been lost in Gaza, with more than 200,000 injured and disabled. The destruction of thousands of homes, mosques, churches, and hospitals has further revealed the true nature of this regime to the world.
The head of the Central Committee for International Quds Day described the global awakening as a result of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation, asserting that despite the noise from the Zionists, the regime is in a dire situation across multiple dimensions. The resistance movement and the people of Gaza remain steadfast in their principles, and the Zionist regime has failed to achieve any of its declared objectives; Hamas stands strong, supported by the people, and resistance leaders are more determined than ever to secure justice for the oppressed.Major General Sharif emphasized the vitality of the Palestinian cause as the 46th anniversary of Quds Day approaches. He pointed out that the greatest defeat for the Zionist media empire is that despite efforts to obscure the Palestinian issue it remains not only the foremost concern of the Islamic world but a primary global issue. The Zionists who once proclaimed from the Nile to the Euphrates now struggle to maintain security over the same 27000 square kilometers they have usurped.
He referenced the security failures of the Zionist regime stating that the rapid Al-Aqsa Storm operation will not be forgotten and there will certainly be opportunities to replicate it in various forms. The Palestinian people with the support of the Islamic Ummah and divine assistance will undoubtedly achieve their ultimate goal.
