According to reports from Mehr News Agency, an Al Jazeera correspondent revealed that Israeli settlers targeted the entrance of a mosque situated between the villages of Tal and Sarra in the western Nablus area of northern West Bank.

The settlers aimed to completely destroy the mosque but were ultimately unsuccessful in their attempt.This incident marks yet another instance of Israeli settlers attacking mosques in the West Bank.

Hebrew-language newspaper Haaretz acknowledged that based on reports from the Israeli police assaults by settlers in the West Bank surged by 23% in January compared to the previous year.
