Israeli Finance Minister Acknowledges Challenges in Eradicating Hamas After Two Years of Conflict
Bezalel Smotrich the Finance Minister of the Israeli regime has openly admitted the difficulties faced in the mission to eliminate Hamas despite over two years of ongoing conflict in Gaza. He asserted that Tel Aviv has not retreated from its objective of dismantling the militant group.
Smotrich stated ‘We have not abandoned the goal of destroying Hamas and we are giving the President of the United States the opportunity to carry out this task in his own manner.’ He further indicated that should Donald Trump fail in this endeavor the Israeli army would seek international legitimacy and support from the United States to fulfill this mission.
Additionally the Finance Minister announced that Hamas would soon receive warnings regarding the surrender of weapons headquarters and tunnels. He emphasized that if Hamas fails to comply the Israeli regime would acquire the necessary legitimacy for independent military operations.
