Concerns Surrounding Iranian National Football Team Amid Political Threats

The Iranian national football team is facing alarming threats from Persian-speaking operatives linked to Mossad just over a hundred days ahead of the World Cup. In a troubling segment aired on International Television political commentator Mazdak Mirzaei raised serious concerns regarding the safety of the players.

Mirzaei posed a provocative question: “Assuming the Islamic Republic remains stable until the World Cup how will you handle the anger of Iranians living in Los Angeles?” This statement underscores the potential backlash the team may encounter abroad.

He further emphasized the dire implications for the national team stating “For all members of the national team this World Cup presents a lose-lose situation; if they do not participate they forfeit the opportunity but if they do go they risk severe repercussions in America. In short their safety is at stake.”
