Significant Findings on Gaza’s Tunnel Network Two Years Post-Conflict

Two years after the onset of the conflict reports indicate that 193 kilometers of Gaza’s tunnel network remain intact. According to Channel 14 of the Israeli regime the current status of these tunnels is alarming particularly in the red zone where approximately 45 percent or 115 kilometers have been identified and destroyed. This leaves a significant portion 145 kilometers still operational.

In the yellow zone the situation is similarly concerning with 83 percent of the tunnels equating to 220 kilometers identified and dismantled. However 48 kilometers representing 17 percent are still functional. Channel 14 emphasized that an astonishing 193 kilometers of Hamas’ tunnel network in Gaza have sustained no damage and remain under Hamas control.
