During the CBS interview, Iran’s Foreign Minister acknowledged difficulties faced in air defense during the twelve-day war, yet asserted that Iranian missiles successfully hit precise targets within Israel.

He stated, “Israel was unable to defend against our missiles. We possess a strong missile capability and are currently in a better position than in previous conflicts.”The minister further warned that any attack by the United States on Iran would be deemed aggressive, and Iran reserves the right to self-defense.

He clarified that Iranian missiles do not reach U.S. soil, indicating that in the event of conflict, American bases in the region would be potential targets. While he refrained from divulging specifics about military plans he emphasized the importance of seeking peaceful solutions rather than escalating towards war.
