According to reports from the Hebrew analytical news outlet News One, Benjamin Netanyahu has launched a scathing attack on Benny Gantz and Naftali Bennett, accusing them of facilitating a doubling of funds flowing into Gaza.
In the midst of escalating mutual criticism among Israeli political factions, Prime Minister Netanyahu has targeted Gantz and Bennett regarding their policies towards Hamas, claiming they have a ‘problem’ in their historical record.Netanyahu further asserted ‘I was the one who halted the flow of Qatari financial aid during the ‘Protective Edge’ operation but after their cabinet was formed these two resumed the transfers and even doubled them through similar financial assistance from the Palestinian Authority.’
He added that during their tenure for the first time since the ‘Protective Edge’ operation 20000 workers from Gaza were allowed entry into Israel and the importation of vehicles and gold trade was also approved. Netanyahu continues to strive to evade accusations of responsibility for Israel’s failure in Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.
