Modi’s itinerary includes a speech at the Knesset, participation in an innovation event in Jerusalem, and a visit to Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center.Netanyahu highlighted his personal connection with Modi, recalling their frequent communications and reciprocal visits over recent years. He remarked, ‘The fabric of our relationship has strengthened, and he is coming so we can further enhance this bond,’ referring to the expanded cooperation between governments and national institutions.The Prime Minister noted that this visit will focus on enhancing collaboration in advanced technology sectors, including artificial intelligence and quantum technologies. Netanyahu asserted, ‘This is not the future; this is the present,’ adding that Israel aims to be among the leading countries in these fields.Beyond bilateral relations, Netanyahu framed Modi’s visit within a broader geopolitical vision. He stated that Israel is striving to create a network he termed the ‘Hexagon of Alliances,’ which would encompass India, Arab nations, African countries, Mediterranean partners like Greece and Cyprus, and other Asian nations.The objective according to him is to form a coalition of nations sharing common perspectives on regional challenges countering what he refers to as radical Sunni and Shia blocs in the Middle East.
